More carpet comes out!

After doing more work a few weeks later we started on the dining room and living room areas. The job was just as much work but the pad was much less stuck and there was less soap residue so these floors while not perfect are in better shape. After scraping a large amount of dirt and disintegrated foam was left to sweep up as you can see in the photos. Also the water from mopping was filthy. Yuck that is what is in and under carpets-give me hard wood any day! All will need some repair and refinishing but we could have found a much worse mess under the carpet. There is one spot where wall plaster was used to fill a missing broken board section not the best choice for repairs.
